About me

Dr. Brian Wasser

Board-certified family medicine physician, farmer, and founder of Fieldstone Health.

Dr. Brian Wasser

I'm a board-certified family physician trained in conventional, evidence-based medicine, with additional training in nutrition, herbalism, mind-body medicine, and preventive care. I treat patients across the whole lifespan — but the way I practice is a deliberate departure from the ten-minute, insurance-driven visit most of us have come to expect.

I'm also a farmer. Years of working the land taught me how deeply human health and the health of our food, soil, and communities are intertwined — and it's what drew me to medicine in the first place. That perspective shapes everything about how I care for patients: patiently, holistically, and with an eye on the roots of things rather than only the symptoms.

What you can expect

  • To be heard. Your visit starts from trust in your own experience — you shouldn't have to prove yourself to your doctor.
  • To be a partner. I bring the medicine; you're the expert on your body, your life, and your goals. We build the plan together.
  • To have time. Slow medicine, by design. Healing rarely happens on a fifteen-minute clock.
  • To be met as you are. A calm, sensory-friendly, neurodivergent-affirming practice for patients who've felt unseen elsewhere.

A family tradition

My practice ethos is inspired in part by my great-great-grandmother, Dr. Lizzie Blair — among an early generation of women physicians in the U.S., and a true generalist who did her rounds on foot and horseback. Continuity, dedication, and trust were the foundation of her work. More than a century later, they're the foundation of mine.
